Each entry of the terminology comes along with an image. These images have been produced by various image generators. Some are hosted on commercial platforms such as Ideogram. Others are generated locally with open source models like Stable Diffusion or Flux and software libraries such as DAAM. The purpose of these images is not to illustrate the articles' contents but to make visible the frictions introduced by an image technology that developed in parallel to our conversations and at times interfered with them or inspired our reflections. The images have been produced according to three modalities: by direct prompting (eg. the entry Unlearning), by visualizing the intermediary steps of the process of generation (eg. the entry Thinking, writing, practicing in circles) or by mapping the zones of an image over which a specific word in a prompt has influence (eg. the entry Exhibition).
